Waggoner’s Gap!

On April 3, Katie and Lauren headed out along Route 74 to summit the widely acclaimed and feared Waggoner’s Gap north of Carlisle, PA. The 16-mile out and back ride was beautiful this time of year, passing by barren fields and spotted with farmhouses and silos. The climb up Waggoners forced both of us to drop down to our lowest “granny” gear in order to make it to the top, but two miles later with burning lungs and aching legs we made it! At the top we met a family of motorcyclists who were amazed that we had biked all the way up the hill- they snapped this picture of us at the top!
